Vantage Group is sponsoring the 11th Global Asphalt & Pavement Summit from 8 to 9 April 2019 at Pullman Jakarta.

We presented our HMI and automation products for pavers that will help reduce human errors and eliminating guesswork. We also demonstrated the asphalt additives for waterproofing of layers.

The New Yogyakarta International Airport is one of the most important strategic projects in Indonesia in 2018 and Vantage Group was chosen to carry out the ground improvement by PT. PP, the main contractor.

As we were the first to introduce this new technology to the Indonesian market, we have definitely faced a challenge in market acceptance. It was a new technology to be proposed for a technically challenging and strategically important project. Therefore, one of our marketing strategies is to provide a free trial of the technology which was a big entrepreneurial risk. But in the end, we met the target criteria and the required performance speed and therefore were awarded with the contract for the whole terminal area. At the same time, we are now looking at similar project requirements and received a number variety of inquiries.

Vantage Commerce was honoured to participate in the ground breaking ceremony of Pembangunan Jalur Kereta Api Khusus Batubara Servo Railway in South Sumatra Island.

This project aims to increase coal transport capacity from the mouth of the mine, a 150 kilometer long rail will be built in southern Sumatra. It is the goal that coal transport capacity will increase from 30 million tonnes to 250 million tonnes per year. The Double Dual Track Construction will be performed by Servo Railway, which extends from Lahat District, Muara Enim to Ogan Ilir. Double double track will work completely in the next 2024.

Vantage Commerce was at Construction Indonesia 2018 to promote the technology and report on our accomplishment at the New Yogyakarta International Airport. Our project using Vantage-RIC was proven to be a success.

For the terminal area of the New Yogyakarta International Airport, one of the most important strategic projects in Indonesia in 2018, PT. PP as the main contractor chose impulse compaction to carry out the ground improvement.

Based on the geotechnical analysis of the soil composition as well as on the requirements to prevent liquefaction due to seismic activity, the RIC grid was applied in two stages. The final compaction configuration consisted of 1.5 m diameter columns with an overall spacing of 1.75 m. The primary stage was completed with 3.5 m spacing in triangular pattern, and the secondary stage placed RIC columns in the center of each 3.5 m triangle.

Vantage Commerce was at Musyawarah daerah asosiasi aspal beton indonesia provinsi DKI Jakarta to present a comprehensive solution to road paving in Indonesia.

This presentation ran through the common pavement problems and how Zycotherm helps to reduce the occurrence of these problems. We went into details about the benefits of Zycotherm in both paving and manufacturing operations.

The 2 main factors in a good pavement are its strength and durability. The strength of the road determines the load it can withstand and is normally tested with the Marshall Test. The durability of the road determines the lifespan of the road and is not normally considered.

Zycotherm improves Marshall Stability and flow value. In addition to that, it improves the bonding between the aggregate and the binder. This results in improved water resistance and resistance to oxidation. This combination helps to combat the majority of road problems.

Zycotherm benefits paving operations by allowing for consistent compaction density. A similar compaction density with the control was achieved at a 15^oC lower compaction temperature. (112^oC).

Vantage X Zydex conference on Zydex Nanotechnology has been successfully conducted on 1 Febuary 2018 by Vantage Commerce Pte Ltd and was fully supported by Zydex Industries.

The talk on soil stabilization, TerraSil & ZycoBond was given by Dr Ajay Ranka (Founder of organosilane nanotechnology). In this talk, Dr Ranka highlighted the shortcomings of cement and how Terrasil & Zycobond can be implemented for sustainability.

We also had a presentation on a new breathrough in road building, Granular Soil Mix. We introduced the “Granular Soil Mix” (GSM) which is equal in performance to asphaltic layers.

Other than that, we also presented ZycoTherm nanotechnology which helps build most durable Asphalt Pavement making it absolutely  water resistant, giving excellent workability, improved stability and consistent compaction. It helps increased RAP usage in hot mixes.

The primary objective of this international trade show is to make the concrete mixing machinery manufacturing industry conscious of the latest technologies which are required for making this industry more advanced. This expo will bring together professional and technical experts related to this industry.

Vantage Commerce was at Konstruksi Indonesia for the third time. Not only, we were promoting the technology but we were also there to offer stakeholders in the industry solutions to various problems.

This year, we focused on our newly imported Rapid Impulse Compaction (Vantage-RIC).

The Indonesian Construction Fair and The Big 5 Construct Indonesia 2017 are designed as bridges to connect various elements, from construction sector, including private contractors, governments, state-owned enterprises, academics, and public, to engage in business and discussion while encouraging the development of potential construction industry.

Construction Indonesia 2017, the 19th International Construction, Infrastructure & Development Exhibition, was held at Jakarta International Expo on 13-16 September 2017. It is the largest and most popular construction exhibition in Indonesia and a comprehensive showcase for the construction, building machinery and infrastructure industries.

With huge investments ongoing in the region, Construction Indonesia provided the perfect platform for industry professionals and key players from the global construction industry to network and showcase their latest products and services under one roof.

This year, Vantage Commerce brought our first Rapid Impulse Compaction machine (Vantage-RIC) to Indonesia. We aimed to use this platform to educate and showcase our technology.

Techno Talk 2017 was held on 18th May 2017 during the Indonesia Construction Technology Expo taking place from 17th to 21st May 2017 in Jakarta.

In the efforts to improve and accelerate the actualization of public infrastructure development through partnership schemes with private enterprises, the organizers of the biggest building material and technology expo gathered industrial experts, key decision markers, and professionals to explore and discuss positive and active participation by the private sector in Indonesia’s construction industry.

Key representatives of Vantage Commerce were invited by the Czech Republic Trade Mission to join the Czech delegation (including the Merko CZ Sales Director, Mr. Jakub Koudela) to participate in receptions at the Embassy to Indonesia, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

The receptions and B2G meetings were majorly focused on the trade relationship between Indonesia and the Czech Republic. Vantage Commerce being the sole distributor for Merko CZ products in ASEAN, we were given the opportunity to introduce our regional capabilities for the upcoming joint projects between the two nations. The Team was eager to network and interact closely with the Czech Republic delegates and Indonesian stakeholders during the event to foster brand awareness and to explore new possibilities of cooperation.

Vantage Commerce was honored to be part of the annual national event of Himpunan Ahli Teknik Tanah Indonesia (“HATTI”).

Apart from being the main contributor to the Indonesia Society for Geotechnical Engineering, HATTI is also a member of the International Society for Soil Mechanic and Geotechnical Engineering. During this annual event, HATTI provided a platform for local and international experts to share knowledge and experience in the field with hopes to collaborate with HATTI to accelerate infrastructure construction in Indonesia. The conference is widely recognised and this year, it was attended by around 800 guests ranging from industrial experts, professionals to university students and faculties in the field of geotechnical engineering.

Vantage Commerce and our supplier, Terra-Mix, presented the cutting-edge impulse compaction technology to the HATTI society, along with the impulse compaction fundamentals and theoretical approach of Terra-Mix to the society from Prof. Dr. Dietmar Adam and Prof. Dr. Christoph Adam of Technische Universität Wien. Apart from that, we used the opportunity to introduce Zydex Industries’ soil stabilization products to interested attendees of the event. The highly innovative use of nanotechnology in this field makes the TerraSil and ZycoBond products a global game changer for soil improvement projects.

Konstruksi Indonesia is the only annual event hosted by the Indonesia Ministry of Public Works and Housing.  It was also co-located with the internationally renowned trade show, The Big 5 Construct Indonesia, and was held in conjunction with the Indonesia Infrastructure Week which consisted of three related vertical sector trade shows. This mega event attracts a wide array of decision makers in the Indonesia construction industry.

Being the fastest growing construction market in South East Asia, valued at USD $164 billion, Indonesia is the one target destination for construction and infrastructure related firms. Hence, to among the exhibitors has given Vantage Commerce the platform to create and maintain a strong brand awareness in Indonesia.

The team showcased the Vantage Commerce concrete product line, including Zimmerman Volumetric Truck Mixers and Merko CZ’s solutions for mobile and stationary concrete batching plants, MOBA HMI systems for construction vehicle automation, impulse compaction technology from Terra-Mix, and Zydex’s water-resistant layer treatment during the exhibition. Vantage Commerce has gained valuable insights and developed relationships with key shareholders which will be invaluable to move forward in supporting Indonesia’s infrastructure growth.

Concrete Asia 2016 was the first edition of Bangkok’s own international exhibition and conference for the concrete and building construction industry. The industry was presented the latest in concrete, concrete surfaces, decorative concrete, material handling, concrete production, cement, building materials, construction equipment and machinery with the latest technologies and techniques to sustain and grow relevant business fields. The event was held alongside the Asian Construction Week from 21 – 23 September 2016 at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand.

Vantage Commerce showcased their concrete product line, including Zimmerman Volumetric Truck Mixers and Merko CZ’s solutions for mobile and stationary concrete batching plants. The Concrete Asia show was the first large scale event for Vantage Commerce since the foundation of their Thai subsidiary Vantage Infrastructure Thailand Co., Ltd in August 2016. The visitors’ feedback to the displayed technologies has been positive and hence, the Team is looking forward to the 2017 edition of Concrete Asia.
